Checked in around 4:30 PM, got up to the room to find out the AC was broken. Went back to lobby, waited in line and was able to get another room. Get a call from the desk at 8:30 PM advising they didn't have a credit card on file for incidentals from the same cleark that checked me in and got my AmEx card for this purpose. I explained to her that she ran my card and she happened to find that record at this point. Toilet had stains, shower curtain wasn't hung properly and the room had a mildewy odor. Not staying at this property again!

The Fort Lauderdale Marriott North hotel offers a central and accessible location with easy access to I-95. Nestled in the Cypress Creek Nature Preserve, the Hotel is only eleven (11) miles from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and four (4) miles from the Gold coast's beautiful beaches. Some of our rooms feature refrigerators, in-room safes and balconies.Maintaining one of the highest ratings among Marriott Hotels in the region in Event and Guest service Satisfaction, the the Marriott hotel is well suited for both business and leisure travel. Featuring over 20,000 square feet of flexible banquet and event space, the facilities are perfect for a Fort Lauderdale Meeting, Conference, Wedding, Class Reunion, Quinceanera or Bar/Bat Mitzvah event.
