For a Marriott property I thought I would be a little more impressed or at least assume what is expected. The lobby area and front desk was very nice. Desk staff were all very nice. Pool was VERY small and seemed misrepresented in the photos on the website. Issues were with the room mainly. The room had a slight odor of cigarette smoke. When I told the front desk the next morning they said housekeeping would address it while were were out. Not only was it not taken care of but house keeping never came to the room at all. Also odd was the layout of a toilet in one "closet" type "room" and the shower in another. The door to the shower area was a sliding pocket door with an opaque window. This allowed the light to wake up my son before he needed to up. Just an annoyance. Lastly, this is a property that this time of year caters to Tons of baseball families as it is around the corner for one of the largest baseball tournament facilities in the north east. Know your audience and cater to them. By this I mean that the television channel line up did not carry local sports channels or ESPN, or the MLB channel. Trust me, this is a big thing with many I spoke to.

Our Brookhaven hotel is close to the North Fork Wineries, Smith Point Park Beach, Tanger Outlets Riverhead, Baseball Heaven and the Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center. All of our guests enjoy free breakfast buffet, on-site exercise room, & indoor pool and free shuttle service to Long Island MacArthur Airport.
