Property Description

Pullman Miami, formerly Sofitel is located just five minutes from Miami International Airport in the Blue Lagoon area of Miami. It is an easy drive to a number of major area attractions – only 15 minutes from the nearest beach and 10 minutes from the Port of Miami. The lower lobby and bar located in the three-story atrium on the beautiful waterfront location. The atrium has been opened up to provide lagoon views from the hotel's formal entry. Accessed by a grand staircase, the renovated area is drenched with sunlight during the day and softly illuminated by a trio of tiered bronze chandeliers suspended from the high ceiling. At the top of the staircase stands a classic Art Deco bronze sculpture of a kneeling woman holding an illuminated globe. Two replicas of the statue flank the hotel's main entrance. The statue by New York designer Brad Elias' design team is an interpretation of a deco piece by French sculptor Fayral, who was well known in Paris during the 1920s. Contemporary architecture blended with art deco décor creates a delightful ambience in all of Pullman Miami's guestrooms. Each of our 281 rooms and suites are thoughtfully decorated with an eye on the unique. The room design was selected by a focus group of corporate clients and guests and features warm woods and luxurious fabrics, deco-styled furnishings, with upscale artwork and accessories – very luxurious and very much in keeping with the hotel's decor. All guestrooms feature high speed Internet access. The hotel features 25 Executive Suites and two Presidential Suites. The Presidential Suites are perfectly suited for hospitality functions, offering a full dining room and pantry, living room, two-line phones and high speed Internet access. Pullman Miami offers contemporary surroundings, state-of-the-art technology, superior food and beverage and a wide range of personalized services to achieve successful meetings and events.The six Parlor meeting rooms, seating 20 to 50 persons each, feature a stylish decor. Our break area features an 18-foot wood and stone buffet staged upon a green and white marble floor. Every meeting room has high-speed Internet access and a dedicated Audio Visual team. The Art Deco French décor of the Monte Carlo Ballroom (4,700 square feet) is both elegant and inviting. It divides into three equal sections, and can accommodate a variety of room configurations for small or large groups of up to 600 guests.The hotel's Paris Room has been transformed into a formal banqueting room with a private outdoor poolside terrace for up to 100 persons.The 6,200 square foot Monte Carlo Terrace overlooking Blue Lagoon is an ideal outdoor location to host receptions or meal functions for up to 400 guests.Our experienced catering and meeting planning staff all contribute to a venue that will exceed the highest expectations.
