My experience at Hotel Lawrence convinced me to never stay there again. The first night the toilet ran and there was no remote control for the TV. After reporting this the next morning, the remote was in the room, but the leaking toilet was not repaired. That night the only operating elevator broke. All residents had to climb stairs, and my room was located on the ninth floor. This situation remained until that afternoon.

The Hotel Lawrence is almost ninety years old. There have been updates. Showers are very nice and beds are very comfortable. Best hotel bed I ever sleep in. Carpeting and curtains I think are original, very musty, need replacement. Free breakfast very nice and hot. Make our own waffle shaped like Texas, loved it. Great location to Sixth Floor Museum and historic downtown.

It is a neat hotel from 1925. It does need painting and the curtains were nasty looking. The rooms are extremely small. Two queen beds in one room is way too much. Very claustrophobic!

"Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!"

The following reasons: 1 ) no room service 2) the rooms smelled like mold 3) there was no comforter on the bed and they gave us one that was like what you would get at a hospital not a hotel 4) one elevator was broken and the other one was way too slow for a 10 story hotel 5) rooms were out-dated 6) there was no parking; had to pay for public parking 7) the people that worked there were very untrained to do the job 8) the counter people would not answer the phone for complaints 9) people partying in hall ways etc. 10) trash everywhere 11) worst hotel stay ever.

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce Dallas's newest luxury landmark hotel, The Hotel Lawrence. The hotel has a history that dates back to 1925, and a future that reflects a magnificent collaboration of signature style and technology. A hotel so unique, that it is destined to top the list of Dallas's finest boutique hotels. Each of our 118 guest rooms feature a well appointed bath, in-room coffee maker, hair dryer, WIFI internet access, voice mail and the highest quality furnishings, to ensure a pleasant stay. Our fully equipped Business Center and Fitness Room will keep you at your best while you are away from the office and home. A Deluxe Complimentary Continental Breakfast Buffet is served each morning to our hotel guests. In the evening, 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, we serve cookies and milk in the main lobby. The hotel's restaurant, The Founder's Grill, is open for lunch and dinner and provides room service to our guest until 10:00 PM. The hotel provides complimentary van transportation within a three-mile radius, which includes the Historic West End District and many great restaurants. Hotel offers Valet Parking for $15.00 per night plus tax. The Hotel Lawrence is conveniently located, next to the Dallas Central Business District, adjacent to the Historic West End and Union Station. The Hotel Lawrence is only a short walk or ride, with our complimentary van transportation, to the Dallas Convention Center, the Sixth Floor Kennedy Museum, and other main attractions, making The Hotel Lawrence the ideal hotel for convention delegates.
