The Friendship Suites is located in a quiet residential neighborhhod. We offer four sizes of fully furnished and completely equipped apartment suites.Studio apartment: Queen size bed, fully equipped kitchen and a complete bathroom. Maximum occupancy - two persons.One Bedroom apartment suite: Separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a separate living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a complete bethroom.Maximum occupancy: Two persons. A few Executive One Bedroom apartment suite: Same as above but twice the size. Maximum Occupancy limit: Two persons. Can also accommodate a third person with an extra abed installed. Extra bed @ $12.50 p/night. Third person Up charge @ $15.00 p/night.Massive, five room, Two Bedroom apartment suite: Large living room, large dining room, large fully equipped kitchen, complete bathroom, two nice size bedrooms. Maximum occupancy: Four persons. One of which can accommodate a fifth person with an extra bed installed. Extra bed @ $12.50 p/night. We are only three miles from the downtown business center and one to two miles from Oakland where the university and medical centers are located. We have Doctors, Surgeons, Professors, Faculty members, Research Scientists, Patients and families, Parents of students and visiting scholars from around the world coming to the Friendship Suites. The Pittsburgh Glass Center also keeps us busy all summer long. We are fortunate to enjoy a very high percentage of repeat guests. We have become very popular to the universities and hospitals due to our low prices, our safe, clean and comfortable suites, and our reputation for providing excellent service. Every guest at the Friendship Suites is given my personal telephone number. As the owner, I am directly involved with every aspect of my guest's comfort. We also have public transportation at our door to take you in every direction. We have two major grocery stores (Whole Foods and Giant Eagle) just a five minute walk from our door. A major pharmacy is closer. The local post office is a fifteen minute walk. The police, fire, and paramedic stations are less than a mile away. We are minutes from local, "popular restaurants" or "fine dining". Shopping of all types is five blocks away on Walnut Street in the heart Shadyside. The Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History is less than two miles away. The Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium is1-1/2 miles away. Basically, we are closely situated to everything important in Pittsburgh.
