When selecting a hotel for guests to our son's wedding, I looked for positive guest reviews, clean and well maintained guest rooms, reasonable price, friendly hotel staff, free guest breakfast, free parking, a pool, pleasant outdoor entrance and seating and a room we could rent for our rehearsal dinner. This hotel had all of that and an awesome events coordinator, Sarah, who made long distance planning for this event easy! Furthermore, the rent of the prenuptial dinner room included tables, chairs and tablecloths, saving on the cost of rentals for the dinner. Sarah also provided a list of caterers that could provide our rehearsal dinner and we were very pleased with her recommendation. The location is great as well. It is easily accessible from the 5, a mile walk or drive on Avenida Pico to the ocean and Casino San Clemente, our son's wedding and reception venue. This made it easy for all of our out of town guests to get to and from the wedding and reception. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express San Clemente!

Property Description

We are located on a hill above a shopping center and 1/2 mile from the ocean and Amtrak. We have 110 hotels rooms including 3 suites. Heated outdoor pool, complimentary cardio fitness center, business center, parking and hot upgraded continental breakfast with eggs, breakfast meats, pancake maker beverages, cereals, and our signature cinnamon rolls.Our Hotel was completely renovated in 2009 and has the largest banquet facility in the area at 2,400 sq ft.

We have green practices but are not certified. We recycle and abide by a linen reuse program.
