"Small room with difficult access and dingy bathroom."
Overall Score1.0/ 5
Room was on second floor, accessed by narrow steep stairway, about 15 narrow steps, difficult climb with luggage. Room was small, 2.5 feet on either side of king bed to wall, four feet at foot to wall, that space being filled with dresser, desk, refrigerator and small upholstered chair directly beneath the hanging clothes rack. Bathroom was tiny, with no active ventilation. Lighting was dim and had to be turned off and on several times to make it come on at all. Bathroom door sill was elevated about 3/4 of an inch, so that my wife tripped on it and banged her head on the door frame. One afternoon, after the room had been made up earlier in the day, the room clerk used his pass key to enter the room even though we had hung the Do No Disturb sign on the door handle. He gave no indication of why he was there. He just apologized saying he did not realize anyone was in the room and seemed surprised when I pointed out the Do Not Disturb sign he had just bypassed. We will not stay in this motel again.
