"Filthy, Run Down, Scary"
Overall Score1.0/ 5
This room was booked for a birthday surprise. When we arrived to check in, about 3:30pm, there were kids with several 30 packs of beer walking into the hotel. As we walked through the halls to get to the room, full trash cans were sitting down the hallway, with food and empty whiskey bottles and beer bottles. Once in the room, the room was dirty, the bedding was old and the spread was all snagged up from what looked like a cat had used it to sharpen its nails. We put put bags down and went down to look at the swimming pool area. The pool was brown and the hot tub was so dirty you could not see the bottom. The people in the room next door were blasting music so loud it was making the headboard of our bed vibrate. When we went back to the office to complain, we were told they could not do anything. As we were complaining about the pool, we looked up and now there were dogs in the pool. It is an inside pool, next to the office. Just outside the office, by the pool, there was clothing thrown out a window along the walk way. You could tell it had been there awhile, it was wet from the rain. I am shocked to learn this hotel is managed by Sandia Casino, I will be informing them of my experience.
