Cleaning Policy: Our cleaning standards have always been high as we treat each day the same. Since COVID-19, we have put social distance 6-feet apart signs as well as markings in the lobby. We have also build a shield for our front desk to keep our guests and our front desk staff safe. Hilton has partnered with Lysol and the Mayo Clinic so we can make sure to maintain our high standards. We have increased the potency of our cleaning supplies and we are only entering rooms when guests check-out to lessen the amount of people entering the room.

I was initially given a room that smelled like the the worst body odor I have ever smelt. I did get it switched by the front desk. After getting in later from a long day at a conference I just wanted to heat some water and have a cup of the tea I brought with for myself. And the microwave was broke. It had been a long tiring day and I did not call the desk to report the microwave, they had already moved me. I would also like to say the front desk was quite nice during my stay. But the fact that house keeping allowed that room to be called clean was definitely wrong.

I made a reservation for the Hilton Garden Inn in Novi months ago. I did it through a 3rd party, Hotelplanner.com. When I got to the hotel on May 15, however, there was no record of the reservation (Hotelplanner dropped the ball - big time). But the concierge on duty, plus the manager, worked with me. They got me a room anyway while they straightened things out with Hotelplanner. Talk about trust! They were two of the most courteous, pleasant, and friendly women I've ever encountered (I wish I could remember their names - I'm really bad with that stuff). I plan to book the Hilton again next year for the same convention time. You guys are great! Oh yeah, and the room was very nice, clean, and comfortable! Peggy Christie
