It has a pleasant and warm small town feel, in a more urban area. We were in town for the National Association for Music Education Northwest Conference. The restaurant workers, retail workers, etc. were very welcoming and friendly. We spent much time in downtown Spokane and enjoyed wonderful weather.

I love Spokane, have to go there often for hockey, and will continue to shop there in the future.

Spokane is pretty, but has a lot of sketchy areas. They are fine during the daytime, but at night is when the wierdos come out.
