Local Attractions

The hotel is situated directly across the street from the Greater Nevada Field, home to the Reno Aces AAA Baseball Club (Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate) and the 1868 FC Soccer Club, as well as the site of other special events throughout the year. Directly across the Truckee River from the hotel is the National Automobile Museum. Within one-half mile are three micro-breweries /brew pubs: The Depot, Pigeon Head and IMBIB. The eclectic Mid-Town area --- with numerous eateries, plus antique shops and one-of-a-kind shops offering everything from the unusual to the exotic --- is a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The Riverfront District, with museums, restaurants and entertainment venues, is five blocks from the hotel. The University of Nevada-Reno campus is one mile from the hotel. There are numerous casinos in the downtown area, with the closest (Harrah's) just two blocks away.

Property Description

The 135 room Courtyard Reno Downtown-Riverfront Hotel opened in August 2016. The hotel offers three basic guest room types: (1) rooms with one king-size bed plus a sleeper sofa for one person (2) rooms with two queen-size beds, and (3) extended king rooms...a little larger than our standard king room. Please note: the hotel does not have any rollaway beds/cots. Cribs are available upon request, first come, first served. Our king rooms have a shower only; our double queen rooms have a tub/shower combination. All rooms feature a 49" LG wall-mounted television with swivel, with remote control. Guests may view Netflix and Hulu (with own account), and YouTube. Channel line-up (subject to change: HBO, HBO2, HBO Comedy, HBO Signature, the NFL Network, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CNN Headline News, CNBC, MSNBC, Bloomberg News, A&E, the History Channel, the Weather Channel, MTV, TBS, TNT, USA Network, Travel Channel, Fox, PBS, the CW Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN News, ESPN U, NBC Sports, Golf Channel,Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Comedy Channel, the Food Network, Freeform, Lifetime, ABC Family, BET, Discovery and HGTV. Every guest room has a microwave oven, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker (with daily refresh of coffee and tea) and a programmable in-room safe. Iron board and iron are supplied in the closet. The bath features a hair dryer and make-up mirror. Individual wall control for heat and air-conditioning. Black out drapes and sheers on all windows (windows do not open). The hotel is totally non-smoking, and there is a fee of $250.00 charged to the guest room account for any violation of this policy. All guest rooms are accessed by interior corridors. We use unmarked electronic key cards for entry to guest rooms. The guest room doors are equipped with a dead-bolt, security latch and a security peep-hole. Guest room keys are required to access both the hotel and the parking facility from 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM. In-room speaker telephones with free local and Toll-Free calls We have The Bistro, serving breakfast daily Monday through Friday 6:30 - 09:30 AM and Saturday / Sunday until 7:00 - 10:00 AM, Starbucks beverages throughout the day, and dinner and alcoholic beverages offered nightly, from 05:00 PM- 10:00 PM. Guests have a variety of seating options available, from a communal table setting, to sofa lounge areas, to our popular "pods" with your own television. Overlooking the Truckee River is our patio and fire-pit, available for guests. Complimentary USA TODAY newspapers available in the lobby. The Courtyard "Go Board" located in the Lobby lists area information, weather and more. We have a fitness center, open 24/7, plus an outside (but covered) outdoor pool and hydro-therapy pool, open 06:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Life guards are not provided and guests swim at their own risk. There is a coin-operated guest laundry with washer and dryer. Wash detergent is available in The Market, which also sells snack items, beverages (beer, wine, soft drinks, bottled water and juices) and some prepared food items. Our Business Center is located in the lobby, with computer terminals and printers. The entire hotel meets current ADA requirements and fire safety requirements. The hotel offers complimentary parking, in an adjacent garage, for overnight guests. Over-sized vehicle parking may be arranged in advance at a fenced site one block away. Four floors and two guest elevators. Daily housekeeping service, and Front Desk staffed 24 hours per day. The hotel participates in the Marriott Rewards program, the largest guest loyalty program in the world. The hotel has a first floor meeting and event room --- the Dugout --- that can be sub-divided in to two rooms. Capable of accommodating events ranging from a board room table setting for as little as 4-8 persons, to a reception or theatre-style seating for up to 82 persons...with classroom, U-shape and hollow square seating set-ups as well. Catering menus are available upon request. Some audio-visual equipment is built-in and some is available, at rental cost, upon request.

The Dugout Room can be subdivided by a move-able air wall in to two un-equal-size meeting rooms. There is a built-in white board on each end wall. The room is fully carpeted. Dugout I is the largest of the two rooms, with a built-in counter space available along the entry wall --- great for set up of either a water station, refreshment break or meeting materials/hand-outs. The write board is on the end (permanent) wall. This room has two windows with black-out drapes. Dugout II is about 1/3 the size of the entire room, great for a conference style (board room) set-up for 8-10 persons comfortably. This room has one window with black-out drapes. There is a write board along the permanent end wall. This room has a smaller counter space great for either a water station, small refreshment break set-u[ or meeting materials.
