Main issue are paper thin walls could hear the kids next door all afternoon and into the evening; and coughing through the night, tv, playing cards, etc. etc. Not worth moving rooms because probably no different. Elevator broken on 2nd day. Annoying that fan in bathroom doesn't have separate switch because it's so loud! Positives: front staff pleasant, helpful. Beds comfortable.

Property Description

Centrally mid-town, in the heart of historic Kingston, the Thriftlodge Kingston is minutes away from downtown Kingston, where great shopping, 1000 Island Boat Cruise and historical Fort Henry, Kingston Waterfront, Martello Alley and Art Galleries await your arrival along with many more wonderful attractions. With 76 spacious air-conditioned guest rooms along with our exceptional customer service insures our guests will feel embraced by our warm hospitality.Some of the hotel amenities include free parking, free local calls, onsite ATM, free wireless internet, a complimentary continental breakfast as well as complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate 24/7. All of our guest rooms have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property also has an onsite ATM. We are within walking distance of restaurants and a grocery store.The property also has a small meeting room available for rent. Also we may have a larger meeting room available.Recent renovations include new heating and AC units, mattresses, and pillows. Currently we working on installing new flooring, new furniture and fresh paint in all the guest rooms. Check with us to see what new features/renovations we have completed!
