"Filthy, Deplorable, Mismanaged and Too Costly."

This place was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many hotels. The night clerk had no clue how to run a hotel. Even though she had a list in front of her of the rooms that were out of service, she assigned me to a room that was wrecked, the bed wasn't even made. I tried to call the front desk but she could not hear me on the phone, so I had to walk back to the front desk and get another room assigned. After repeatedly telling her that I wanted a non-smoking room and preferably one close to the previous room, she assigned me to a smoking room (250 yards back the other way). I called to complain and she said that the computer screen clearly listed it as a non-smoking room. I told her I was going to suck it up because I didn't want to lug my stuff another yard. There was no clock. The refrigerator and microwave were unplugged and the freezer portion of the fridge was caked with ice that was leaking all over the floor. The carpet was soaking wet. There was a small coffee machine, however it was in the bathroom and as it had a short cord, there was no place to even plug it in! I went to breakfast the next morning and it consisted of plain bagels or cheerios that was it! I couldn't believe it. When I complained about all that had transpired the previous evening the day clerk simply said that he was sorry for the trouble I had been through. No compensation, no explanations, nothing concerning the night clerk, no bill adjustment, absolutely nothing. Never will I go back to ANY America's Best Value Inn. It is clearly false advertisement and the Health Department should condemn the place. Pay the extra money and go to a Super 8.
