Guests of major conferences, weddings and other special occasions will welcome THE HOTEL'S dedication to guest service. It's the luxury experience College Park has long waited for. Featuring thoughtful design and fine interior finishes, the 297 guest rooms (including 29 suites) at The Hotel make guests feel like they've stepped into a high-luxury residence. Our oversized guest rooms feature mini refrigerators, illy coffee makers, complimentary wifi, Turkish bathrobes, high end bath amenities and personal safes. We also have two levels of Executive Rooms with access to the Executive Lounge - offering complimentary breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres - along with spectacular views. Finally, we have 3 ultra luxury suites - each with their own premium living and dining rooms, kitchens; fireplaces, TV's, private bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms. Old Maryland Grill, our main restaurant- serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - and highlighting food and beverage from all over the State of Maryland; Kapnos Taverna - from DC renowned Chef Mike Isabella - which specializes in coastal-inspired Greek dishes, including favorites from the Greek Islands along with tastes from other regions known for their fine local products. With over 43,000 square feet of meeting and event space - we can accommodate groups from 10-1500. The rooftop venue includes an expansive 5,000 square foot outdoor terrace - along with a fully enclosed ballroom. The Mezzanine Level contains the majority of our meeting space - including 2 large ballrooms - 6 break-out rooms - 2 outdoor Terraces - and a variety of pre-function areas. Finally, more intimate affairs can be held on the Lobby Level in our Terrapin Ballroom - and Diamondback Boardroom.In addition to the restaurants - we have some additional wonderful amenities including: Red Door Spa by Elizabeth Arden (opening summer 2018); Indoor Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center, Lobby Pantry and an 850 space attached parking garage.. THE HOTEL at the University of Maryland is located directly across the street from the main entrance of campus. Travelers who are flying to our area will appreciate our location. We're near the three major airports that serve the DC metropolitan area–Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Ronald Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport.
