The hotel has a beautiful entrance with big ratan couches and chairs to relax on. Entering the hotel lobby I was very impressed with the bright contemporary style of the new renovation. The open concept with the restaurant and breakfast area made the lobby feel very large. The restaurant wraps around and has a quiet sitting area near the back. Several french doors open up into a large banquet room which is used for private functions and meetings. Airwalls break the room down into three separate rooms. The business center is located in an open format toward the back of the restaurant. Down the hall behind the front desk is another meeting room. The total combined meeting space is 3990 s.f. and they can accommodate up to 130 people. The hallways are brightly appointed with an art deco floral carpet. The guest rooms were very nice and bright with cherry toned accents and dark wood. The rooms have a refrigerator, microwaive, iron, ironing board, and wall mounted hairdryer. The bathrooms have an upgraded vanity with granite counter. They have one hospitality suite which has a full sized refrigerator, granite counter area for food and beverages, and sitting area for small groups. The hotel also has an exercise room and outdoor swimming pool. Located in the University area. Traffic volume is heavy for this area, but the hotel sits back off of the main road. There are many restaurants and shopping options in this area. This a very nice boutique style hotel.

All my guests were very pleased with this hotel. The breakfast was great and the rooms were wonderful. We had guests who were in town meet us at the bar downstairs the night before the wedding and that was a hit. Our block coordinator was helpful and kind. The courtesy van was also a great perk for our older guests that did not have transportation. Can't recommend enough!

Consistent in my opinion is always a sign of excellience. This hotel has a great staff, great rooms and is always quiet, clean and comfortable. A great place to stay. But since it has a true business and parents of UNCC crowd, the place is quiet by 9PM or 10PM and then the bar closes. way too early. but you can walk just down the sidewalk for more! Great location BTW!
