There was a logistical error in wedding planning and the hotel would not honor me cancelling the room, even for some sort of a late penalty fee.

Great place to stay, just wish I could have gotten a refund on cancelled room before I made another reservation. Didn't realize I had made first reservation thru a Hotel Booking site and rate was ridiculous so cancelled and was able to make another with direct contact with front desk people who couldn't have been more helpful!

An excellent place to stay although you should list an actual phone number to your front desk on your website! I called the number listed and did not realize it was a Hotel Booking person. The price they quoted me and what I had to pay was totally different. I was unable to get a refund from those people but the actual persons at the Front Desk at Holiday Inn on State Street in Bismarck couldn't have been nicer! I was able to get a much more reasonable price from Caroline, although she was unable to get a refund from others as well! A little bit upset I had to pay twice for one room and do feel I should be given compensation for that. Our class reunion could not have been held at a more accommodating place and all of the employees went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time! I don't think I heard a complaint at all about the rooms or service, but again feel it was unfair for me to pay for one room at one night two times. once to the Hotel Booking agent and then to the Bismarck Holiday Inn! Did not understand why the Holiday Inn could not have cancelled reservation and then in turn give me a room without the hassle of me spending 26 minutes on my phone and was able to cancel but no refund. Not sure why that number was on your website rather than a direct line to your front desk??.
