I spent five days at this hotel. Hotel is very quiet and serene surrounded by green trees; excellent staff and service. There is nothing but trees across the opposite side of the street and a gas station and a restaurant a few feet from the hotel. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was not great but OK: eggs, scrambled, boiled, yogurt, waffles, hot oat meal cereals and pastries, great pool, gym has only three pieces of equipment but was good enough for me. My only disappointment was that the hotel is advertised as having views of the Hudson River but it is not so. It is a good 30 35 minutes walk or 6 minutes drive to Fort Montgomery Historical Sites before you can see any view. Great Historical park with walking trails and museum. Bear Mountain State Park also begins at that same location in which you may drive three four miles or further to other areas of Bear Mountain State Park to see the scenic views. My overall stay was good. No issues.

I was at West Point for the NCJA Championships with the Judo team from NYU. The hotel is convenient to West Point.The desk clerk suggested the BBQ restaurant next door. The food is excellent! The free breakfast at the hotel was also very satisfying.
