Another fantastic Hyatt Place Hotel! I truly like Hyatt Place because of their superb accommodations and value. This hotel is located just south of Charlotte Douglas Airport on Tyvola. Located approximately 10 minute from the airport. This is not a high traffic area so accessibility into of the hotel is easy. Although, I did get a little confused coming out of the hotel and could only turn right when I needed to turn left. There was a U turn not far down the street to get me back on track. The hotel is 100% non smoking and they offer 122 beautiful guest suites. Each suite has a room divider between the bedroom and sitting area. The rooms are very spacious and have plenty of space to move around. A refrigerator, microwave, iron/board, coffee maker, dryer and flat screen TV is standard in each room. The L shaped sleeper sofa couch is a great addition if extra bedding is needed. The hotel offers single King or double queen bedded rooms. Meeting space is 1,700 s.f. and can accommodate up to 100 people. There is only one restaurant within walking distance, however, a good variety of options are just a short drive away. SouthPark Mall is approximatley a 20 minute drive. The hotel offers airport shuttle complimentary. 24 hour guest kitchen is available for dining options as well as the bakery cafe. The service is very professional and accommodating. A full hot breakfast is included in the rate and changes with daily special features. The hotel also offers a fitness center offers cardio exercise options and they also have an outdoor swimming pool. I can highly recommend this hotel for medium sized business meetings, individual travelers and weekend group travel.
