We stayed at this hotel for a wedding further east of Asheville, while also wanting to be close enough to go into town to adventure. It was a great location. Everyone on staff was very friendly. The restaurant/bar was a great plus for our late night arrival. Taking an Uber to the brewery area wasn't terribly expensive. No complaints during our two-night stay in mid June. This hotel is clean and well-managed. The service is courteous, professional and welcoming. The breakfasts are excellent. Our room was roomy and quiet with a fresh smell (that is, no smell). The pool area is nice (though you can hear some interstate traffic, no big deal) with plenty of seating, umbrellas, clean towels, etc. Highly recommended.
