Bathroom definitely needed new paint job and toilet. Stains, mold and rust all over! Toilet bowl had stains that made you not want to turn on the light every time you entered overall feel of the room made us never want to stay in a Fairfield chain again.

Most of the time when one stays at a hotel the employees of the hotel are rarely noticed other than the fact that they are there to serve the patrons. One gets checked in, stays for a day or for a while, checks out and goes about life without the slightest notion of the names of those who were of service. Perhaps there are people who do take notice of who the employees were, but I was not one of them until I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Houston, Texas. When I was in Houston I met people who went out of their way to make sure my stay there was an enjoyable one. I left with the names of several employees in my mind. If you are ever there ask the General Manager, Kyle, when would be the best time to take advantage of the hot tub. I just wanted to drop a name because he was special and he was one of several employees who made me feel like a special guest while I was there.
