II Posto is our Italian restaurant situated in the grounds of the hotel offer an informal dining option to guests while overlooking the river and hills.
The magnificence of Mar Hall is a fine example of Gothic Architecture, courtesy of the eminent Sir Robert Smirke M.A. Steeped in history, the Earl of Mar Estate holds many fascinating stories, with reference made to the likes of Mary Queen of Scots and Robert the Bruce. Built in 1828, the present Mar Hall was constructed 100 years after the famous Earl's death and, after a massive restoration, its owners proudly present the city with a precious gem.
The Earl of Mar 18 hole Golf Course, designed by Dave Thomas Limited, opened in May 2010.
