"Dirty, Inept, Disappointing, and Costly."
Overall Score2.0/ 5
We moved into our room and spent 20 plus days there. The room was dirty, walls covered in marks and dried food. the cupboards were broken in places and the box spring was broken. The recliner in the room was cracked in so many places it scratched the skin when you tried to sit in it. The first night we were so hot because the heaters would not turn down. It was 76 in each room. We turned our heater off in the bedroom and it kept coming on and blowing air on us. It would go on and off every few mins and because the shroud on it was broken it rattled. We told the desk person and the next day a man came to check it. He said the units were set at 76 and couldn't be turned down or changed. This issue continued and finally he changed something (on day 15) and it was better. The elevator broke twice and each time it took awhile to repair. There was 6 days when my husband had no hot water for a shower. When he complained they told him there was only 12 on demand heaters and if the hotel had a few people in it then the water didn't get to the rooms well. The free laundry was a joke. The two washers that worked leaked water into the workout room and of the four dryers, two did not work because of a broken drum belt. One time it took us five hrs to wash two loads. During the first week, the housekeeping did an okay job of cleaning the room. 10 days later I went down to the desk and asked why our room was not cleaned. I was told it should have been cleaned on Tues and it was then Friday! At that point I had had enough with the place and really let my feelings be known. After that, the room was cleaned. They did comp us a couple of days for the inconveniences but as far as we are concerned, the hotel needs to address the issues it has.
