I want to commend the sales manager for accommodating us with very little notice. He made sure we were set up in good rooms at a good price. Positive there's a good breakfast; the breakfast was included in our reasonable rate. The rooms were fine. The pool was nice. The gazebo was good. The area felt safe enough. The sales manager really is trying his best and should be commended. Constructive the hotel is ridiculously short staffed, especially at the front desk. Requests (like for extra towels, or fixing a clogged toilet) are at first ignored and MAYBE begrudgingly accepted. They also work slow as molasses..check in took close to an hour because they were typing in information at a snail's pace. There's a. well, I guess he's a grizzled security guard? He bumbles around the area, not really making anything secure, but rather making rude comments. We were working out and speaking in a soundproof gym. Out of nowhere, he came in and said the gym was closed. There is nothing on any information related to this hotel indicating the gym was closed. In order to have a space to work that wouldn't bother the other guests, we went outside to the front of the hotel. He then followed us and said we couldn't be in front of the hotel. Are you kidding me? If this man is acting of his own accord, he needs to be fired immediately. If he's following orders, they need to be terminated for providing customer service SO BAD that it ruins the Ramada's name. I didn't see a lot of things that others have complained about (like mold) overall was good stayed.

"No maintenance of hotel"

Some rooms were not cleaned, no towels, elevators broke down, no maintenance of hotel. Had to keep reminding staff to replace water and cups and coffee. Did not clean ball room. 1 good thing: breakfast.

Customer service was awesome, but the hotel was outdated and nothing worked. We had to switch out microwaves and the fridge. It was just an old hotel. We had awesome breakfast and the front desk was very very professional, but We will not be back until after the updates of hotel.

"My experience with the Clarion"

If it were not for the convenience of having a powerlifting competition in the same building, I would not have stayed here. It was way over priced to be such a rough looking place. I have personally stayed in nicer looking Clarions and I am not sure what happened to this one. It smelled pretty bad on the inside as well, kind of like a moldy stench.
