This was the quietest hotel ever! We loved that! The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful; gave plenty of information. Athena, the waitress at Fifty44, was fantastic! She served us both mornings for breakfast, the second morning with 19 in attendance and her attitude, her aptitude at serving us all was great. She rocked! We enjoyed our stay in this lovely place.

Great hotel employees are Mo and Tina! I must express my deepest thank you for stepping beyond customer service and becoming friends! That helped me when having my only daughter's wedding happening. Special people these two! Shout out to the restaurant making room for the wedding party and guests the next day. We have been treated like family!

The new 42-room Lodge at Nakoma is an interior-corridor hotel built to complement existing resort amenities and Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Clubhouse. Designed by Cathexes to answer the question what would Frank Lloyd Wright do today they chose to emulate Wright principle rather than imitate his style.The developer and architect decided upon a mountain modern feel for the 23701-square-foot hotel utilizing raw and natural materials in the construction such as tumbled travertine antique woods and stone. Exposed concrete floors hot molded steel and dramatic rooflines embrace features like floor-to-ceiling picture windows that welcome the High Sierra environs inside and overlook the eighth green of Nakoma Dragon golf course.
