General Butler State Resort Park is situated on a hill. As you enter the park, youa re at the base of the hill where the following is located: Small lake with paddle boats, canoes, row boats and fishing; Miniature Golf Course; 2 Outdoor Pavilions with restrooms and electricity; Playground; Miniature Train Rides. We have 24 total cottages that have 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms and these are all located near the lake. Just down the raod from the cottages is our campground that offers 111 sites as well as some primitive sites.
As you make your way up the hill, our 9 hole golf course is located at the top. Just across the stret is our lodge with our 53 guest rooms that have either 2 double beds, 1 king bed or 1 queen bed. All guest rooms have either a private patio or balcony depending on the floor that they are located on. All of our rooms have hair dryers, irons, ironing boards and coffee makers.
Also in our lodge is our restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are 2 private dining rooms available to rent for larger groups (up to 42 guests).
Our conference center is a short walk/drive from the lodge. It offers 7500 square feet of space that may be divided into 3 equal sections. Each section will accomodate about 100 guests for a banquet.
As you make your way back down the hill toawrds the back of the park, we have out Butler-Turpin State Historic House that offers tours at the top of every hour. There is also a thrd outdoor pavilion located there.
