The St. Regis Grand was originally opened in 1894 by Cesar Ritz and reopened its doors in December 1999 after a more than 35 million USD complete restoration and renovation program.
The renovation goal has been to restore its former glory, sympathetic with the ideals of the original designer, Cesar Ritz, combining Roman Empire and Louis XV styles of furnishings and decoration to create a carefully restored Roman palazzo.
