The Ernst-Deutsch-Theater is one of Germany's biggest privately maintained stages. Wolfgang Borchert and Friedrich Schütter founded it in 1951 and it is named after and stands in memory of the actor Ernst Deutsch. The theatre is easily reached on foot from the Mundsburg metro station. Classic and modern plays are performed here strictly according to the original scripts. The emphasis is on works dealing with social critique and political issues, but there is also a choice of light and entertaining pieces on the programme, as well as projects by independent drama groups. In addition to young talents, you will encounter famous actors both on stage and among the audience.

Color Line Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Hamburg, Germany. It is located in the city's western quarter of Bahrenfeld, adjacent to football stadium HSH Nordbank Arena. From the inside, it is pretty much a replica of a large multifunctional indoor arena in Helsinki, Finland, the Hartwall Areena.
It is primarily used for handball and ice hockey, and is the home of HSV Handball and the Hamburg Freezers. Some major pop stars like Gwen Stefani, Tina Turner, Nena, Westlife, Shania Twain, Kylie Minogue, Shakira, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Anastacia, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Morrissey, Cher and rock bands like Dire Straits, Kiss, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, R.E.M., Green Day, The Cure, Depeche Mode and Radiohead have performed there. In November 2005 World Wrestling Entertainment hosted an event as part of the Survivor Series Tour. It also hosted several matches during the 2007 World Men's Handball Championship.
Building the Color Line Arena had cost 83 Million Euro (ca. $121.5 Million). It opened in 2002, five years after the Hartwall Areena, and can hold up to 16,000 people.
