The Exchange Square (Chinese: ????) is a building complex located in Central, Hong Kong. It houses offices and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It is served by the Central and Hong Kong stations of the MTR metro system.
Most part of the Exchange Square is owned by Hong Kong Land, with the remaining portions owned by the American Club of Hong Kong and the Government. The building has three blocks, namely, One Exchange Square, Two Exchange Square and Three Exchange Square, and a shopping block, namely, The Forum. The ground level also houses a large-scale bus terminus, named Central (Exchange Square) Bus Terminus, which have a large number of bus routes bound for different area within Hong Kong.
The property is the home of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong since the 1980s. It also houses many international banking and law firms including Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Allen & Overy and Allens Arthur Robinson. The Central Government Offices (traditional Chinese: ??????, also Government Headquarters ????) houses the most major offices of the Hong Kong Government. Located in Central in Hong Kong, it occupies the lower level of Government Hill.
Completed in 1957 by the Government of Hong Kong, it replaced a two-storey colonial complex from the 1930s, old Secretariat Building (built 1847) was demolished in 1954).

Until 1985, the Legislative Council of Hong Kong met here.
The building is actually a complex of three wings with a total of 76,000 square feet (7,100 m2) of offices: Main Wing (with Annex), East Wing and West Wing. The most familiar wing is the Main Wing, housing offices of the Chief Executive and site of most major protest against the Hong Kong Government (another site is the LegCo). In order to keep protesters who have not applied from entering the complex, a serie of fences was erected in 1998 after the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to the People's Republic of China in 1997.
Plans are under way to replace the current buildings with a new 110,000-square-foot (10,000 m2) office at the Tamar basin and scheduled to be completed by 2010. Apart from government offices, the Tamar site will also house the Legislative Council and provide not less than 22,000 square metres of open space for public enjoyment. The cost for developing the entire Tamar site is estimated at HKD5.2 billion.

The Former French Mission Building (Chinese: ????????) is a declared monument of Hong Kong. It is located at 1, Battery Path, Central. It currently houses the Court of Final Appeal of Hong Kong.
The present three-storey building was built in 1917, probably based on a previous structure on the site known as "Beaconsfield". It is constructed in granite and red bricks in Neo-Classical style, dating from the Edwardian period.
The original structure on this site dated back to 1842.
The first Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Henry Pottinger resided there from 1843 to 1846. His successor, John Francis Davis also lived there for a while, before moving to Caine Road. The building likely served as one of the earlier homes of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
The building then had several owners, and was acquired by the Missions Étrangères de Paris in 1915. In 1917, they renovated it and added a chapel in the north-west corner, topped by a cupola. It was finally sold back to the Hong Kong Government in 1953.
It was used successively by the Education Department, the Victoria District Court, the Supreme Court, and the Government Information Services. It is now used as the Court of Final Appeal.
The building was declared a monument on September 14, 1989
