Location. The New Hotel La Baume is located in the centre of the historic city of Nimes, France. It lies 300 metres from the shopping of Rue de la Madeleine and 800 metres from the Roman Forum.
Hotel Features. This three storey boutique hotel is set in a 17th century building with many original features, including a balustraded stone staircase and an interior courtyard. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide the use of a safe deposit box and limited hours room service is available. Distance to New Hotel La Baume is 14 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. An airport bus departs for the city centre and Nimes bus station, and running times co ordinate with flight arrivals. The journey time is about 35 minutes, and tickets cost 5 EUR. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 24 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Nimes is best explored on foot or by bus. A car is useful for exploring the Languedoc Roussillon region.
