Location. The Arne Jacobsen designed Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is located in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark, overlooking Tivoli amusement park. The hotel is three blocks from the shopping street of Stroget, and attractions like Rosenberg Castle and the National Museum are within one kilometre. The busy central train station is close to the hotel and Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH) is 12 kilometres away.
Hotel Features.. Flower arrangements and design classics like Egg and Swan chairs dot the contemporary lobby of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, which has a circular reception.
On the 20th floor, the Alberto K restaurant serves up a combination of Danish and Italian cuisine in a modern setting. The restaurant, which is decorated in minimal black and white, serves dinners of up to 10 courses and has panoramic city centre views. Breakfast buffets, light meals and coffees are served in the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel's Lobby Café.
The hotel offers an IT centre with Internet access and conference rooms.
The wood floored fitness centre at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel offers free weights and exercise machines. Guests can book a massage in the treatment room or relax in the sauna.
Guestrooms. Designed by acclaimed Danish architect Arne Jacobsen, each of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel's 260 air conditioned guestrooms feature maple panelling and are decorated in cool tones. Rooms offer separate sitting area, satellite television, high speed Internet access, minibars and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have marble bathrooms.
Expert Tip. It's just two blocks to the world famous Tivoli Gardens, an amusement park and pleasure garden dating from 1843. A favourite with locals is the Rutsjebanen, built in 1914 and one of the world's oldest wooden rollercoasters.

From Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH):
Distance to Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is 12 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Direct trains run between Terminal 3's station and Copenhagen central station every 10 minutes. There are regular trains to other locations in Denmark and Sweden. The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel overlooks Tivoli Gardens close to the central station. Taxis wait in front of Terminals 1 and 3 and cost around 160 DKK 200 DKK to the city centre. This price includes taxes and tips, and credit cards can be used. Bus numbers 9, 30, 500S and 250S run between the airport and the city centre (and beyond) until midnight every day. The number 96N runs throughout the night. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is located on Hammerichsgade in central Copenhagen. Buses, an underground metro, trains, and water buses provide excellent transportation throughout the city. One ticket can be used for all types of public transport. Bicycles are a popular way to explore Copenhagen, and there are a number of cycle paths in the city. Onsite parking is available (surcharge).
Driving directions. From Copenhagen Kastrup Airport:
Take the main road E20 towards Copenhagen Centrum.
Drive along the Amager Strandvej until you arrive in the centre of Copenhagen.
The hotel is just off Radhusplads (The Town Hall Square).
