I felt that the lobby and room were well lit, decorated, and clean. The only small problem was that the breakfast was all carbs (waffles, bagels, pastries, toast...) and it would have been nice to have a protein (at least eggs). Aside from that, no complaints :) « less

I want to personally thank you for taking time out of your schedule to let us know about your stay. I was glad to hear that you found most everything here at the Super 8 to your liking. I apologize that you were unable to find a protein item like cooked eggs. Yet, under Super 8 breakfast standards the items you found is what we are allowed to serve. Also, this motel was built without a kitchen.So, were unfortunately are unable to do things like that. Look forward to seeing you again. We are clean and friendly. Stayed at this Super 8 because it had good reviews that said it was clean and the staff helpful. We arrived about 6 pm and there was no one at the front desk to check us in - there was a sign posted that said "be right back." After waiting 15 minutes, I called the number on my reservation, and the person said they were on their way back "down." There was no explanation or apology for the delay. The breakfast area appeared clean enough but the hallway carpet was dirty and stained and the room carpet was also stained. The AC in the first room they put us in did not work so we were moved to another room. The walls in the room were soiled in several places and even though the hotel is all non-smoking, our bathroom sink had five cigarette burn marks on it. The floor covering in the bathroom was peeling. The beds sagged so that you rolled to the middle. It was not a pleasant experience for four women sharing one room. It was the first time in a Super 8 for three of the four of us and after this experience, the others are not interested in staying at a Super 8 in the future. « less
