A bit dated but huge rooms. Spotless, desk staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast sufficient and included in the price which was unusual as no breakfast included in any of the other hotels we stayed in. There was also a free shuttle bus for airport, bus station etc. Only minutes away from Shea's theatre, a must visit even just for the decor! « less

I and a colleague stayed one night on a business trip. First time in Buffalo. This hotel is clean with friendly front desk staff who helped us find shops, cinema and restaurants in a town which was new to us. There is nothing special about the hotel, but it is very functional with perhaps the only low point being the breakfast, with only one member of staff supporting the buffet the food ran out quickly. Recently I was part of a group that stayed at the Comfort Suites Downtown Buffalo, New York hotel. Three of us (all women) stayed in a suite. The suite had plenty of room for all of our "stuff. Getting ready in the morning was easeful and efficient as the suite had three areas with mirrors. It was also helpful to have the coffee maker and refrigerator available for use.
The downtown location was ideal for walking to downtown sites and restaurants.
In addition, Gwen who worked in the breakfast room had a "get it done" attitude even when on Saturday, May 4, she was left to work the breakfast room alone because a co-worker didn't show up. Our group so appreciated all of her efforts to make our breakfast experience a positive one. She's definitely a keeper as an employee! « less

Our large group was one of several groups that swamped the Breakfast Room at the Comfort Suites May 2-5, 2013. Many children included. There was only one person who was responsible for refilling trays, coffee carafes, and emptying trash. Her name was Gwen. She did the best she could, considering she had no assistance from other staff. I hope you give her a raise in her paycheck. Rooms were comfortable. Desk staff was helpful. « less
