We stayed at this hotel for five nights and were greeted by the most welcoming staff, from the time we stepped into the lobby and throughout our stay. The location could not be any better - center of Miraflores. The Indian Markets and Kennedy Park were within a 15 min walk from the hotel. Cafes and restaurants are nearby as well. Vilko the concierge was probably the best concierge we have ever met. He was extremely knowledgeable, gave good suggestions and was always happy to help with anything. Vilko even helped us book our bus ride and accomodation to Nazca, Peru. He obviously loves what he does and the DoubleTree is extremely lucky to have him. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and provided many choices. We would stay here again, should we ever come back to Lima. « less

My family stayed for 5 nights and Vilko the Concierge went out of his way from Day 1 to the end, making great excursion recommendations suitable for my family (Ica Sandboarding, Ballestas Islands, paragliding in Miraflores by the water) and great tips for our stay in Cusco/MP. Super central location in Miraflores, great restaurants nearby, hotel accommodations were spacious, breakfast buffet an excellent start to the day and great gym facilities! Would have recommended a 5 rating if the pool was not under maintenance and unavailable for use during our stay. « less

Recently spent 2 nights in this hotel on a business trip to Lima and it certainly ticks all the boxes. The staff are very griendly and efficient and the rooms are large spacious and very well equipped. The hotel gym is also very well equipped. Slightly disappointing that the pool was closed for maintenance when I was there. The hotel is in the heart of Miraflores which is a very nice and safe district of Lima close the ocean. Would definitely return if I was to visit Lima again. « less

We stayed at the DoubleTree twice on our trip to Peru: once upon arrival, and once at the end before we left Lima. The first time we stayed, we checked in very early (around 7 am), and were given the crappiest little room (I believe the number was 619 or 629). It was around the corner from the elevators, and even appeared to be in a different building. The door didn't close properly (didn't latch, always had to deabolt/chain), and it seemed really loud. We think it was "overflow" rooms for early check-ins or late departures?
On our second visit, the room was lovely. The AC worked well, the bathroom was gorgeous, everything was clean and modern.
Breakfast was great - we had to leave really early (before 5 AM) one night, and they even had small snacks and coffees to go in the lobby for us poor souls. « less
