Refrig. did not work was going to be there for two days and needed a microwave and Refrid....that room was a non smoking room; which I requested. But when they found a room with a working Refrig., they could have at least told me it was a smoking room before hauling all our belongings into another room. And we had to figure it out.. Then the microwave stop working had to get another one. I take it that there was other smoking rooms around every morning when we went into the bathroom you would think someone was in there smoking very strong and fresh smoke I guess it was coming thru the vents. After getting home I couldn't believe all our things smelled so bad....The location from the facility I had to be at was great, but the location of the hotel was a different story it was in a neighborhood which I strongly believe it was occupied by residents of the area, not something I care for....Only thing that keep me there was the comstumer service. A black lady at night very pleasant and a white lady in the morning very pleasant...and I did not get their names. « less

Room was clean and neat when we arrived. The main switch turned off the tv and frig. Had to plug frig in diff. outlet. There were not enough plugs to use microwave. Had to unplug tv to use it. The room safe did not work. The frig door was not working correctly and had to slam frig to get it to close. We stayed 3 nights and our room was not cleaned once. I had to go to front desk to get towels and wash cloths every morning. This is in a predominantly Black area. The people were very nice but always people hanging in the lobby and in front of main doors. I think the majority of the residents live there all year long. I will not use this hotel again. There is another motel 8 closer to newport news that we will try next time. « less

Microwave and Fridge are not part of the all rooms, so we have not had many outlet to cover them, We do have plug multiplier to go with them. I apologize for not having it in your room. I didn't have a good experience at this motel. For starters the carpet in the room was nasty, walked around on it barefoot and the bottom of my feet turned brown! There was trash around the night stand and under the edge of the bed! The bed was also very uncomfortable. I would not recommend to stay at this motel at all! « less

I stay there whenever I'm in the area because it's close to where I need to go. It's not elegant but it's good for the price. The staff is always friendly. Only wish there was an iron/ironing board in the room but you can get it from the front desk. « less
