Good hotel in Bayside/Great Neck area. Don't expect too much. The hotel is somewhat dated but room was clean. Parking is free and hotel is close to Bell Avenue (10 minute walk) which has good eating places. Free adequate breakfast. Close to Long Island Railroad station on Bell where you can take the train to Penn Station in Manhattan (30 minute ride). Don't go here if you are on vacation but definitely OK if you need to be in the area. « less

The Adria was recommended by a co-worker for my recent business trip to NY.
Upon arriving, I have to say, I was a little skeptical. The lobby and hallways are pretty well worn.
Once I entered my room, it was like being in a different hotel. Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The desk was comfortable for working and the internet service was pretty good. The bathroom was modern and adequate with plenty of hot water and good water pressure.
Parking was easy, convenient and best of all, free. The staff was helpful and friendly. I'll stay again the next time I'm in the area. « less

Has everything I want in a hotel at that price range and location. Clean, comfortable, free self parking, decent breakfast. The Adria is a little bit better than the next door twin hotel Ramada. You're not going to find a better place in the same price range and area than the Adria. You don't have to pay extra for breakfast or parking. « less

I went to the Bayside area for elective surgery and recovery, therefore spending more time in the hotel than if I was on holiday or business. My gratitude is particularly to Alfredo at the front desk, since I stayed alone and without car, he drove me back from surgery and to appointments for checkups in his own car with the permisssion of the hotel. I have stayed in luxury hotels where I was not treated as well as here. All personnel in this establishment have the singular goal of making sure each guest has an optimal experience. My room and bathroom were super clean, with fresh fluffy towels and bedding on my comfortable multi-pillowed bed every day. The TV is modern and accesses many channels, the AC/heat works and one can regulate it, coffe pot and iron are provided. I enjoyed the free breakfasts and the everfresh coffe in the lobby. I must admit, that I dislike the town of Bayside where no stores of value exist and there are only fast food or greasy restaurants, but it is just a few moments to superior other places ( like the pretty Great Neck) the highway is close by and the LIRR takes you to Manhattan in exactly 20 minutes. I felt safe in the hotel and saw that people using it for conventions and meetings were satisfied, too. « less
