I am a frequent guest at this hotel. It is well managed and service from the staff is very good. The hotel is in a very good location, not far from downtown, not far from various Horse events, next to the mail HWY, RT 64. A number of hotels in the area.
This hotel has a Bar and kitchen for serving Burgers, Steaks and etc.
Hotel prices are reasonable.
the hotel is going through an ownership change, which is for the best, prior owner was not very good and nee owners are local.
Hotel over the next several months will be doing upgrades, such as putting flat panel TV's, refurbishment and etc.
Overall its comfortable, reasonable for pricing, and a good staff. « less

We had a two night stay here. The hotel's in a convenient location, clean and the staff are very pleasant. We arrived on a Wednesday to find a free reception in the lobby. They were serving ribs and fried potatoes, both were excellent. The room was older and a little dated but very clean and comfortable. I was a bit concerned that the pool and fitness center were directly outside of our door but we never heard a thing. I would recommend this hotel for the value. « less

My daughter actually booked this hotel. It is conveniently located within Lexington KY and close to the Blue Grass airport. The hotel is a little dated BUT very clean. The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. There is a Cracker Barrel just 200 hundred feet from the hotel so you can get a nice breakfast either at the hotel of at Cracker Barrel. The only issue is the wireless high speed internet. It is very slow and often couldn't connect. You have to use the direct connection located at the desk. There is a gym, pool and a hot tub. I did not use those amenities but they did look good. I would recommend staying at this hotel when in the Louisville area. « less

Decent stay at this hotel, very good deal with the Bourbon Trail Package - included dinner credit, bourbon tasting (three pours of our choosing) one night stay and breakfast buffet for two. Dinner was pretty standard hotel bar food, not the worst, not the best. Bourbon pours were excellent - since we were able to choose from a very decent bourbon collection. The room was pretty standard, nothing outstanding, clean but a couple cigarette burns in the comforter of our non-smoking room is telling that the rooms could use some updates. If you are looking for a decent place to stay in Lexington w/ all the amenities on site (fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, breakfast, dining, bar and room service) for a good price, this will do. « less

Is this what you would expect from a Four Points? Probably not. Is this a perfectly acceptable place to stay for Keeneland when you get a Priceline deal? Absolutely! The lobby of the hotel looked very nice. Check-in went smoothly. The only thing wrong with the room was a small piece of paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling. Overall, the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and noise was minimal. The free wifi worked great. It is worth noting that the televisions are older, i.e. if you are planning to watch something from your phone or computer, there is no hdmi input. However, the tv did have composite inputs on the front. If you're expecting a Sheraton, you might be a little disappointed. If you expect a little less, which I did based on the negative reviews I read, you will be pleasantly surprised. « less
