Did not get the room I booked. Asked for King got a Double. Lighting was awful. Could not read the temp settings on the thermostate. Noisy door slamming and hallway. Man followed me up to my room who was standing around drinking coffee in lobby. Asked my name and if I was married and stood outside my room and hallway lurking. I went to desk and the staff was nice and walked me back to the room and said he would pass the info on to the next desk clerk. Turned out it was a worker with a team that comes to the area for work who is from out of state and they stay there alot. Women be careful!! « less

I am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience at our hotel. I will be sure to address this issue with my team and thank you for bringing it to our attention. In an effort to ensure that no guest ever feels uncomfortable, we are going to be increasing our security presence in the hotel on nights that we have large groups with us. We are also going to better monitor guest placement in the hotel to ensure that they are in a location that makes them feel safe and secure with us.
This is something that should have never happened and I truly do apologize for the issue that you had at our hotel. While it is impossible for us to control all of the guests that stay at our hotel, we do strive to create a safe and positive environment for all our guests and our staff. I hope you are willing to give us another chance and see the improvements that we have made in response to this review.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy our Super Start Breakfast. We have had excellent feedback with the addition of hot waffles, yogurts, fruit and cinnamon buns. I am sorry that this did not meet your standards. I am happy to hear that you did have a great stay other than the breakfast.

So I walk into this Super8 and get a lackluster greeting from the desk clerk whose badge says he's the general manager or something. Hmmm. I get a room at $68+$10 pet fee and go check it out. Finding that it faced the noisy freeway I go back to the desk to ask for another facing the front. The guy says "Oh I knew you wouldn't like that and I was going to give you a room on the other side but I didn't for some reason." Really? What's wrong with you?
The room itself was clean but sub-standard. As I write this review on a really small desk (max 3'x18") that also serves as the bedside table in this "queen executive" room, the table lamp (unplugged so I could access an outlet) is on the floor right beside the telephone and the radio so that I could put my laptop on some surface.
The bed is comfortable and the windows open (nice!). However the bathroom was obviously designed by the same uncaring person who chose and arranged the furniture: tiny vanity (not nearly enough space for my toiletries) and the sink faucet was malfunctioning (hard to regulate and sometimes sprayed water all over). I went across to McD's for breakfast because theirs looked quite unappealing even though I didn't expect much.
Even though the room size is adequate, I'll be glad to get out of here just because the place seems so cramped and it's all quite annoying. It has been planned with major disregard (disrespect?) for guests' comfort and the staff doesn't seem to care much about their guests either. « less

Stayed in the hotel for a 3 day school field trip. We were actually very impressed, given that it is a super 8. the rooms were clean, and the continental breakfast wasn't entirely atrocious (make-your-own waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt) - just wish they had some fresh fruit). We chose the place because it was close to a lot of stuff, as students we didn't have cars so food had to be walkable. there were plenty of restaurant options nearby, a great liquor store with plenty of craft beer, and even a super market. This was my 4th time doing a field trip like this and this was definitely one of the best motor inn's that we've stayed in. « less
