We got a good deal on this hotel on Priceline for a 1 day trip to Disneyland on our way to Vegas. The girl at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. We had our pick of rooms and just got one on the 1st floor for ease of lugging luggage. I guess the 3rd floor rooms have inside access, our door was outside like a motel, but we didn't care. Room was basic but clean w/ a comfortable bed, a fridge & a microwave too I think (we didn't use it). We got up early for breakfast & had fruit, yogurt, cereal, a Jimmy Dean breakfast sand & coffee. Better than Mcd's and it's free! Parking is like $6, no resort fee though - so no big deal. Overall it was a nice stay a few miles away from Disneyland. I would stay here again for $60. There are food place close to the hotel. I would rate this Fairfield Inn one of the top hotels in the Placentia / Fullerton area. I am so very glad i decided to stay here. « less

This is obviously a hotel that was converted from a lower-end hotel at some point in the past. The 1st & 2nd floors are outside-entry, but the 3rd floor has the doors on the inside. It's kind of strange. We weren't happy when we pulled up, but somehow (probably because I have Marriott status) we ended up on the 3rd floor, which was good.
The rooms are definitely dated, and could use an overall refurbishment. That said, it was pretty clean, so that helped.
The location is strange - kind of by itself in some office parks. No food within walking distance, but I doubt anyone staying here would be planning on walking anyway. Disneyland is 15-20 minutes away, and North LA/Hollywood is about 45 minutes away.
Breakfast was ok, but not great. The hours we were told at check-in were wrong, and we were told that in no uncertain terms by the woman who works breakfast. Turns out she's actually pretty nice once you talk to her - I guess she just has so many people who ignore the rules that she has to resort to yelling from the start.
3 stars, because the price was good for the location, but I'd probably stay somewhere else if I go back. « less

Stayed for 5 nights while on a local visit. Convenient to places I needed to go in Placentia and Fullerton. Somewhat difficult to walk places as it was located in a light industrial area. Although I managed to find "The Brury" close buy which ad a tasting room!! Anyway the breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and pool area quiet. Wifi was being upgraded so had some issues, but signal was stronger every day. For the money it was worth it. « less

This is a strange Fairfield Inn.
The first issue is the office is not very well marked, but after locating it was easy. The elevator is slow and most rooms are with outside corridors, not something expected from a Fairfield Inn. Our room was "inside" on the top floor, but still felt weird.
The hotel staff was typical, not very nice or rude, just middle of the road. No thank yous or anything for being a Marriott Rewards Platinum member.
This hotel is quite a distance from Disney and they charge for parking which is odd because there is NOTHING of interest nearby. « less
