Stayed for one night last week. As I walked in lobby, I saw kids running to the pool area. And yes pool area is right in lobby. Check in was fine the guy that work don't have a name tag so I don't know who he is. He put me in a lower ground but seeing kids running around I don't want to be bother as I'm there to sleep. My room is on the back were you can pull up your vehicle right on your door. At night you'll here traffic from the highway and the parking lot is pitch black. If you tried to get back to the main building you have to go around to main lobby cause the back is locked.
Overall, average stay if you are a light sleeper like me ask not to be put on back of the motel you'll just wake up every time truck passes by. « less

This is a great mid priced hotel experience in Niagara. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area and offered great advice. I would award higher points if the outside and common areas more matched the rooms. Our room was very nice indeed. Clean, nice sheets etc. The parking lot needs repaving and the common areas could be spruced up/modernized. Of course that does come at a higher cost for rooms I suppose. The only thing I didn't like was where the pool is and how you feel on display in a glass room surrounded by guests coming and going. It was also a shame that you don't have adult only hours since swimming at 9:30 on would have been ideal but the pool was still full of kids! Would book there again since it's not too far of a journey down to the attractions and right on one of the main roads into the downtown area. Falls Manor restaurant nearby offers a GREAT breakfast at a good price. « less

Our room was infested with large black ants, one of which found it's way onto my face while I was lying in bed! My husband and I had 2 young children and an infant of 4mths in the room with me. I was worried all night about the ants getting into our clothes, on them, in the play pen, and even into the snack food we brought. It was suppose to be a fund night and we left feeling dirty and grossed out. Even the hall was littered with ants. When I asked the front office for some sort of compensation for the terrible conditions of my stay and they said they couldn't help me because they were not a manager. I was given NO compensation and made to pay full price! No breakfast was provided so I can not comment on that part of the survey. « less

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at this Days Inn. The first time, there was an issue with the pool, but the bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was nice. This time, the bed was horrible, and after sleeping on it for two nights, we were both happy to be back in our own bed. It seems that it's just luck when it comes to getting a room with a comfortable bed. We didn't get the full discount of 20% using our travel discount, but we were compensated fairly at checkout. The staff is friendly enough and the hotel overall seems clean. We loved loved loved the Wimpy's right next door. The food is super, the serving sizes are generous, and the staff is friendly. It's certainly a bonus that will make us consider staying at this Days Inn again. Since we are usually travelling together on our Goldwing, it's very handy to be in short walking distance to food. It would be nice if this hotel offered a breakfast. « less

Very nice hotel to stay at and except for not having a fridge and/or microwave in the room we were given, everything else was fine.

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"I think this site is amazing! I can't wait to use this site more! I still can't believe the "meeting planner" part of the site is free!" J.J. - Albany, NY
"This has to be the easiest reservation I have ever encountered, as far as a group reservation anyway. When I made group reservations for my other daughter's wedding in Houston a few years ago, it was a nightmare! Wish I would have known about you then." Carolyn H. - Boston, MA
