Imagine a place that was once the most significant architectural structure of its time. The PSFS building was at the height of modernity in 1932, a place that symbolized growth, prosperity, and futuristic technology. Now a luxury hotel, the PSFS building maintains the many details and traits that earned it a National Historic Landmark designation. Loews Philadelphia sets a new city standard in modern lodging convenience and luxury.

We stayed three nights at the Loews as tourists. The room was very good with two large beds, good bathroom and in general all the facilities were good and well maintained. The internet it is not included in the price, it is expensive and was slow enough to be difficult to wach TV from our country in my laptop. We didn't tryed the restaurant once it was empty when we arrived in second day to have the breakfast. So we went outside where we can find lots of restaurants because in fact the Loews is well located. About the service we don't have anything special to say, once nobody talk with me by name and it was the opposit. Phily one of the concierges does't recognize me 15 minutes after receiving a gratuity to do is job. Conclusion my ideia about the Loews Philadelphia is it is a good four stars hotel, well located but expensive for the service supplyed to the guests. « less

A first rate hotel. The building is classic art deco and immaculately maintained, but the staff really makes the experience. They are always friendly, no matter what their role. From the minute I walked in, to my parting handshake with the bell captain helping me find a cab, they were friendly, interested and accommodating. They also made an effort to know my name. For example, Tahisha helped me as I walked in the door, and recognized me throughout my stay by name. Mr. M. Roach at the front desk was very kind when I had a question about my bill; Jamie near by was supportively interested. The engineering staff moved competently throughout the hotel, and always took time to smile and help us enter or exit an elevator or to explain the express elevator system--I'm sorry I don't recall all their names to list here but they all deserve my thanks. Housekeepers always said hello and asked how my day was going. Restrooms were kept sparkling and equipped throughout the day.The catering and food was incredibly good--healthful and beautifully presented.
I was here on business but hope to return with family in tow in the near future. « less

The customer service at the Loews is beyond fantastic, from the moment I walked in until the moment the valet brought me my car to leave, EVERY member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is also pet friendly (BONUS), anytime I walked through the lobby staff members stopped and coddled my spoiled little dog, it was great.
The room service was prompt and wonderful and delivered by friendly staff members as well.

I attended a conference in Philadelphia and stayed at the Loews located on Market Street. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the service from EVERYONE -- bell captain, font desk, concierge team. They called me by name once they learned it, maintained a professional demeanor throughout and worked to ensure that I was completely satisfied. I haven't had service like this from a hotel in a LONG time.
The room (deluxe double) was above average -- comfortable bed, nice desk, good wireless signal, very nice bathroom and storage space. No complaints here.
I didn't do room service, but did eat several meals in the restaurant (currently named Sole Food). Dinner was terrific!!! Breakfast was pretty good as well. A bit pricey, but the food really was marvelous and the service was great too. You are just one block away from the Reading Terminal Market which has TONS of great lunch options.
I would recommend the Loews to anyone who is staying in downtown Philly. « less
