All the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They're doing some remodeling currently and are very conscious of the difficulties that could arise, and are poised ready to act. Our one night stay presented no problems whatsoever. Reasonable rate. Lots of places to eat nearby. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our room was towards the back, away from Rt 22. We never heard any traffic or anything like that. I seldom sleep well on the road, but managed a decent night's rest. I did miss my own pillow. The ones there were far too soft and puffy for my liking. Seems to me a pillow should support your head, not wrap around it. But hey, that's not a big deal. I'm sure if I would've said something, the staff there would've done what they could have to help. That's the point. No stay may be perfect, but it's the people working there that matter. In this case, highest score possible. Recommend. « less

My wife has a disability and travels with me for business on occasion. we had the opportunity to travel together to PA on 3/26 - 3/27 and booked our hotel at the Fairfield. We needed to get checked in early and get late checkout due to my wife's condition. The staff was most accommodating to us and treated us great. I will never stay at another hotel in Bethlehem again, Thank you Fairfield! « less

This is the place we always stay when visiting family in Bethlehem. It is close to major routes and restaurants. The staff is always friendly and attentive to whatever your needs may be. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are adequate, neat and clean. No matter where you travel, Fairfields are a great place to stay. This hotel is right next door to an Applebee's if this is your choice of dining. There is a diner nearby (walking distance) if you desire more than a continental breakfast, which is available at the hotel. You are only minutes away from the Sands casino for your entertainment. The old Bethlehem steel plant is becoming a showcase for the area. Within the casino, there is fine dining, as well as a new and growing shopping mall. Fairfield Inn has reasonable rates and is convenient to all the amenities. « less

The hotel was relatively empty and yet we were put in a room on the side of the highway where cars and tractor trailers sped by all night long. It sounded like they were in our room! Well at least the sound of the heater clanking all night helped to drown out some of the traffic. To top it off, For some reason, our room for four had only three towels. We called for an extra, but the housekeeper never showed. We rated this a two star hotel since we did have a comfy mattress but the pillows reminded of us our morning pancakes. Enough said. « less
