Close to park, convention center, aquarium, etc. Lots of food & fun within walking (or short taxi) distance. Rooms are small, some have been upgraded but they still feel outdated....

Good service at front desk, bar, and valet. Overall, it's pretty fair for the price - not luxury but ok for a few nights. « less

It has the basics one needs: great location, outside of park & walking distance to most place. Has excellent bed & best pillow I slept in long time, & good free internet speed.. But the place smells (like old building), the gym is antique, the food is mediocre at best, bathroom doesn't have a high power vent. It is not a bad place to go sleep in but not a place one looks forward to spending time in. Please add some air freshener. « less

Good:
- Location is good, plenty of things within walking distance - All employees were very friendly & helpful - Breakfast service at restaurant was quick & consistent. I actually prefer to not have the continental breakfast and to have the option of a real meal that is not a donut. - Wifi was nice & fast
Not as good:
- Hotel needs some repair, it is looking a bit worn out. There are plenty of "little" things that were noticed that could make a big difference. - Fitness center is extremely basic & old, not fit for a hotel that is frequented by business travelers. - No vending machines (except soda) and the only snack options at the front desk are all junk food - The beds were not the best, the sheets were very thin and cheap and the bed itself was not very comfortable.
Overall, the stay was fine. I frequent the Holiday Inn brand so if in the area again I would stay again but I have stayed at nicer Holiday Inn properties. « less
