Our hotel has been recently remodeled to assure a quiet nights rest for traveling families or tired business persons.
We are part of the Super 8 Motel chain and strive to exceed its nationwide standard of service, cleanliness, and comfort at a reasonable price.
The highlight of Super 8 Stamford is our luxurious Standard Room. These rooms come with either 1 king sized bed, or 2 double sized beds, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and a 25 inch stereo television. With the golden oak toned credenza, writing table, chairs, and brass lamps, these rooms are comfortable and warm. You may request a smoking or non smoking room as you prefer.
Similar to our Standard Rooms, but with the addition of a microwave oven, and a mini refrigerator our deluxe rooms provide for greater flexibility. A good choice for our long term guests and are also available in both smoking and non-smoking.
The best Super 8 has to offer is this plush suite you will find a king size bed and a luxurious couch that unfolds to sleep 2 more guests. The Suite boasts track lighting over a wet bar, a refrigerator, a microwave, and all the other features offered in our Standard Room. The best choice for the business person that will be spending a lot of time with us or for any celebrating a special occasion. If there are any special preparations that you wish, just ask us in advance and we will do everything we can to make your stay all that you wish it to be.
Rooms For Those With Special Needs
These rooms have all the features of our Standard Rooms but are only available with one double size bed. These rooms are available in both smoking and non-smoking for your convenience. We have removed the recliner so one can maneuver a walker or a wheelchair throughout the room with ease. The bathrooms contain a bath bench and a hand shower. Grab bars are installed in strategic places for our guests safety and comfort. If there are further needs for those that are physically challenged, just ask our friendly front desk personnel and they will do all they can to accommodate you.

This property is in a shady area and right next to the Interstate so you can hear trucks all night long as the windows are old and thin. There is, as others have stated a presence of mold & mildew trough-out so breathing may be a problem for some people as a result. In any part of the "hotel" you can smell a strong smell of smoke. Others reported not having Hot Water but this was not an issue for me. Towels & wash clothes could be used for sand paper. Most TV channels had difficult focusing in, like a satellite with spotty signal. Bedding was musty and I could feel the springs in the worn out mattress which made it difficult to sleep with the other issues. During my several night stay I also noticed some questionable people coming in and out at odd times so that adding to the location didn't make me feel as safe as I would hope. Breakfast included cereal, apples warm yogurt and few bread items, and was slightly stale. The front desk staff as very nice despite all the people complaining. I would recommend this property for construction workers as that is who I saw primarily. « less

I chose this hotel for it's location right off of 95. It was convenient, but the price was not worth what I got. The place looks rundown, no hot water in the shower. We were on a non smoking floor but the whole place reeked of old smoke. Looking out the window, we saw three abandoned mattresses on the ground, and the breakfast was stale, packaged foods with fake juice. « less
