Built in 1907 by Italian stonemasons Hotel La Rose is one of the Historic Hotels of America. Renovated in 1985 and again in 2000 with two beautiful buildings, the main hotel and the Carraige House, that you will find conveniences in all 49 guestrooms such as two line phones with data ports and voice mail; marble bathrooms, some with whirlpool tubs; 20 rooms surround our garden courtyard with private patios or balconies and all our rooms are individually decorated. Known as the heart of Historic Railroad Square the hotel is within an easy stroll of antique shops and award winning restaurants, including Josef's Restaurant & Bar at lobby level. San Francisco Airpot 69 miles, Oakland Airport 68 miles. There is a suttle service called Airport Express that goes from the airport to Santa Rosa. The tickets are currently (10/2004) $26 each way per person. A taxi would cost about $150+ one way.
