As soon as we walked in the door, my 11 year old son was impressed and could not believe this hotel was actually less expensive than the other Comfort Suites we checked out of that morrning. Hotel was recently renovated and is in pristine shape. Front desk staff very friendly and accomodating. Both the room and hotel were far above my expectations for this brand. They have an indoor pool and hot tub as well which is hard to find in Texas. « less

We had a wedding to attend at the end of February, and this hotel was convenient for the wedding venue (which was out in the woods somewhere 20-30 minutes away from the hotel on some back roads). The bride's family had taken the time to tour the hotel prior to the wedding to ensure that the rooms are nice and clean and told their guests to book there. This Comfort Suites was great. The room was clean and spacious. The king bed suite was really a hotel room with a sofabed and a coffee table, separated from the king bed by a partial room divider (to the hotel's credit, this set-up was clearly stated at booking so we knew that we weren't getting a real suite). The flat screen TV is nice and big and sits on top of the cabinet that holds a mini fridge. The king bed was comfortable and our teens thought the sofabed was fine. The rate was reasonable and included good breakfast. This location is about 20-25 minutes from the San Marcos Outlet Malls so we would definitely consider this Comfort Suites the next time we come to shop even though we normally use Marriott, Hilton, and (every once in a while) Hyatt brands for most of our travels. Also, an added bonus is the Starbucks walking distance away. « less

People. Save your money. Stay here rather than the other hotel across the parking lot. I saved 60 dollars and got a much bigger bang. I have been staying at "the other hotel" for two years. This last time, the price jumped. I walked across the parking lot and walked in to Comfort Suites. Fantastic. Food, a bar, clean, great staff. The rooms, great. I can't believe I haven't stayed at this one before.
I'm in hotels 3 nights a week. This is one that is on top of the list.
Outside of the Austin Gridlock, food everywhere. Buda is a little big town and growing. For the rednecks, Cabellas is just a mile away. Starbucks not even 200 yards away. « less

The room was clean and up to date. Breakfast was good and always ready by 6:00 am or sooner. It's alittle hard to find at night, but just turn in to the Starbucks. « less
