My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and it will be our last time. The Manager and Staff put on a charade to move us from our room, by saying that they were shampoing the rugs. After we moved, they increased our room rate and said that the Hotel was full and that the rate had to be increased. We had planned on staying one or two more nights in Daytona Beach, so we moved to another Hotel. We recieved numerous calls from the front desk with peculiar questions, so I think they were trying to see if we were in our room. When they found out that we were leaving, they called and said they would give us a better rate if we stayed, but we had already made our decision to leave, and never return. Two lamps in the room didnt work, and the carpets were dirty. Just before we moved to another Hotel we walked by our original room, and the carpet had never been cleaned. It had all been some sort of scam. The Manager is a Liar, and a Scammer, DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, there are far too many choices. « less

Location of this room was next to the dining area kitchen, when the employee started preparing for breakfast we heard everything and this was early in the morning. Don't stay in this room. We also had an idem come up missing out of the bathroom. This hotel has a very good location for the Racetrack. « less

Our first room had a broken lock and despite being sold out, they were able to find us another room closeby which was in better shape within about 15 mins or so. They have a coffee bar set up in lobby all day which I love. The breakfast was typical of a place like this...yogurt, wafflemaker, cereal, etc. All in all fair for the price, but certainly nothing extraordinary. Comfort "SUITES" is a bit far fetched. « less

Some common areas were a bit worn but overall the hotel was comfortable, had everything we needed and the price was right. During Daytona bike week the hotel prices in the area are always overinflated. Obvious price gouging everywhere. This wasn't too bad at $119. per night for a king suite which included a one person pull out couch. We will definately stay here again. Not close to Main Street, but close to the event we were attending. Included breakfast. If you got downstairs early everything was neat with plenty of food, if you got there late, it was definately a mess. I rated the value as very good - what I mean is the value for this area during this event time is very good. « less

This hotel was really well priced ($62 for a king suite with AAA discount). The staff was efficient and friendly. The king bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and crisp. The roll-away bed was a little below average. While worth the money, be aware that the hotel falls below the standards of other Comfort Suites. It's really more like a Comfort Inn in terms of quality. It's been upgraded but only about 40% upgraded and some of the upgrades look like do-it-yourself kinds of jobs. The decorating in the room is weird...hard to put my finger on. I think the lighting may be off giving it a dingy appearance. Above the sink in the main room, there is a tiny, underpowered light fixture that looks like it is actually meant for the outside. It's the only thing on the wall. It made me feel like I was in a pre-fab room that had been tacked onto the back of a house. The luggage rack had been intentionally modified to prevent you from taking it into your room. That felt a little condescending. Breakfast was reasonable with bacon and eggs. The bacon was fully submerged in bacon grease however. The area seemed safe enough. I'd stay here again because of the value, but don't confuse it with an average Comfort Suites. « less
