I rate this excellent for what it is...an Econo Lodge. This was a nice surprise after a very long drive. I was looking for a clean affordable place to stay along the interstate, and just stumbled upon this place for no reason other than I was beat and couldn't drive anymore. I was a little wary at first since there is a truck stop across the road, but I went for it anyway. During check-in, the lady was pleasant and accommodating. The price was very affordable...I was actually pleasantly surprised after having been gouged at other California lodging establishments on this particular trip.
The big surprise was how nice the room was for the price, and how quiet it was. It turned out to be a very nice overnight stay that didn't break my wallet. I would recommend this to anyone who simply needs a clean, convenient place to rest and take it easy for one night. « less

We needed an inexpensive, pet friendly hotel/motel on our way north out of California and the Econo Lodge in Westley fit the bill. Check in was friendly and efficient. The pet fee was inexpensive ($10). We were pleasantly surprised that the room was so big! Along with the bed and dressers, it had a sitting area with table and chairs and a large dressing area with a nice vanity. Free Wi-Fi, fridge and microwave were a plus. Usual bathroom amenities including a hair dryer. Only thing missing was an iron and ironing board. Room was clean and just fine for our needs. Coffee in the morning and easy check out. Would stay there again when traveling on a budget. « less

We had two rooms for a Friday night. We were able to get a very good price for the two rooms. The rooms were clean and neat. The rooms had Wi-Fi and cable TV. There was soap, shampoo and toothpaste in the room. The bathroom was clean with enough towels for us. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a continental breakfast with cereal/milk, packaged pastries, toast, peanut butter, jams and coffee or tea. There was a seperate eating area in the lobby with a TV. I got to learn about Cricket as I was eating breakfast. I would recommend staying if you need a place to sleep off of I-5 « less

Stayed here because it had the best rate in Westley, a wide spot in the road just south of Sacramento accessed while traveling up or down I-5. Noise was minimal, room was spacious and reasonably clean. Linens and towels were a little threadbare, but okay. A few amenities were provided: hair dryer, travel size shampoo, etc. Small microwave and refrigerator were also in the room. Staff apologized and I was given another room immediately after complaining that my non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. Continental breakfast furnished was minimal, but it was nice to be able to grab some coffee and packaged danish prior to getting back on the road. « less

Disgusting! I drove up thinking it was new. Fresh paint everywhere. Easy check in, we unloaded all our stuff. When I took my shoe's off I stepped on wet carpet. I looked up and the ceiling looked buckled, (water damage). There is fresh paint everywhere. We were so tired we decided to just go to bed. The bed was old and it had to be full of dust mites. It's 3am and I just woke my husband up to get me Benadryl. I have been itching all night! I am allergic to moss, mold, mildew, and dust. This place has something triggering my asthma, my sinuses are swollen, my eyes are swollen, and I feel like little bugs are crawling on me. I will never experience a motel ever again. If it weren't for my exhosted husband and kids sleeping I would have checked out already. Don't make the mistake. « less
