Hotel is nice and central, just around the corner from the train station. The hotel is modern and has been renovated within the last couple of years by the looks of it. Bathroom included an area for getting ready which ate into the living area of the room but a great feature if the room was a little larger. « less

Hotel was like a bad 70's flashback (renovated about 5 years ago) - shag carpet, chain curtains as room dividers and around lamps, hanging globe lights, etc. The bathroom setup in our tiny room was bizarre - toilet and shower each had their own closet-like 'room' with smokey glass type doors and sink was outside. It was hard to take a shower without flooding the area outside (by sink) and the shower had 2 temperatures - burning hot and scalding hot. You could not read in the room because of poor lighting (chains hanging from tops of lamps didn't help). Front desk spoke limited English and the 'business center' consisted of 1 computer in the lobby. « less

This modern hotel in the central city is a good value as indicated by the number of business customers. There is tight underground parking. The rooms are expansive and modern almost mod. But the value and location allay any reservations. We dined in the bar when the staff was fantastic and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. This may not be a true 5 star hotel but at 95E an excellent value. The central city is dotted with sculpture of special note a Botero and for fun Woody Allen. « less

Stayed here for a week in August 2012. Got the bus from the airport to Oviedo 7.5 Euros each. Hotel is fairly central. We had room only - plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel is clean and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. Got the train to Aviles and Gijon and hired a car to get to beautiful beaches. Pretty city - very Spanish, sometimes had difficulties when ordering food - not all restaurants had menus in English. Mostly Spanish tourists. Amusing local speciality - cider that is poured from a great height into your glass - a great deal being spilt on the floor! « less

We loved this hotel! It's very modern, yet comfortable. Reception staff were extremely friendly. Room was clean & cosy. The restaurant was fastastic value- 3 course meal & bottle of wine in a lovely setting, only 30 euro for the two of us! It was so nice we ate there both nights.Breakfast was lovely. My favourite part of this hotel was the bar...decor was fab, wine was lovely, I could have stayed there all night, but we wandered downtown (10-15 min walk)-lots of bars, people sitting outside, plenty of lively places to drink but equally lots of quieter restaurants & bars worth checking out in the lovely old squares, cobbled streets etc. Oviedo is a great city. I highly recommend this hotel if you go there! (be sure to get out of the city and visit some nearby beaches- Salinas is not great, but Aguilar beach is lovely, with amazing cliff top walks) « less
