The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is away from the centre of town so much quieter but there are nice restaurants, pubs, and marinas close by on the inland waterway.The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was probably the best one I've had. « less

We know when we select Hampton, we are guaranteed the highest quality service in an enjoyable environment. The rooms are always clean, beds comfortable which assure me a comfortable full nights sleep. The hotel as we pulled in presented picture perfect clean, well maintained grounds, we knew we had picked the best hotel for our stay. The employees at the front desk welcomed us and were very professional, answering our questions. The breakfast person was helpful and the food was worth waking up early for. First impression was the front desk gentleman covered with tatoos wearing a short sleeve shirt. and a 'diamond' stud in his ear. He was on the phone with a guest when we arrived and the manager, Brandy (Newsome), I think, was standing on my side of the desk. Brandy said hello to us, but made no attempt to go behind the desk and start the checkin. We waited till Christopher finished his call. Once in the room, I found other peoples hair in the tub and sink. I removed them with a tissue and placed them in the soap dish. The tub looked like a cleaning solution was used on the inside, as was dull/scummy. I did not use the tub/shower at all. Friends were picking us up, so we left the hotel shortly thereafter for an evening out. The next morning at check out, I gave the soap dish with hairs to the nice elderly gentleman that was working the desk, and asked him to give it to the Manager, Brandy. He was very apologetic and called for Brandy, who came out from behind the wall, and said she overheard the conversation and said that it was unacceptable, apologized, and said she would return my Hilton Honor points. Why didn't she come out from behind the wall as soon as she heard my complaint???? In addition, the floors in the dining area looked dirty and the rug under the center console table was full of stains. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory however. I like the Hampton Inn as a rule, but I must say I had a similar problem last Summer in Ft. Lauderdale/Davie Hampton Inn. Very disappointed! Also, your pillows are much too soft - maybe have 1 or 2 in the closet for those that like a firmer pillow. I work in a service industry business, so am very aware of customer service and tend to be very critical!!!! « less

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it! We purchased a groupon and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and the front desk people were nice. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was good. The location is great not to far or close from shops and the beach! Nice quiet area and with us having an infant it's just what we needed. I will definitely stay here next time we visit! « less
