The Pine Cone Acre Motel is located on the quite side of South Lake Tahoe, just 3 miles from Camp Richardson, and close to beaches, bike trails, and fine restaurants. Our property is on an expansive, quite, and peaceful park-like setting away from the noise and crowds of the Stateline Casino area, yet only 7 miles away if you wish to venture out into Tahoe's nightlife.
For the recreation minded, look no further. We are at the Gateway to the Desolation Wilderness Area, and close to many trail heads. Bike rental is just a few blocks away, as is the trail to beaches and Fallen Leaf Lake. World Class skiing & boarding is just minutes away at Heavenly Valley, Sierra At Tahoe, Homewood, and Kirkwood ski/board areas. The clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe are also just minutes away, as are boat marina's at Camp Richardson, Tahoe Keys, and the calm waters of Fallen Leaf Lake.
We provide conference and catered banquet facilities on-site from mid-May to late-October for up to 80guests. We are within a block of two very nice restaurants that also have group banquet facilities, and within 3 blocks of one of South Lake Tahoe's finest dining establishments, Evan's Bistro. We are also just minutes away from beautiful dining on the water at both Camp Richardson and Tahoe Keys Marina. We will work with you to make sure your group experience is a memorable one.
Our rooms are classic Tahoe-style, and always clean and cozy. All rooms have microwave, refrigerator, coffee,free wifi and premium cable. We have 21 rooms; 7 two-bed units (4 with full kitchens), and 14 one-bed units (2 with full kitchens). We look forward to seeing you soon up in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
